Description

As Night Audit you will balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations. You will make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer issues that might occur throughout the shift. This includes inputting into the front office system revenue/expenses/allowances to generate the daily reports such as the 'Guest Ledger Summary'. Be ready to perform any other job related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
PRIOR NIGHT AUDIT AND HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE DESIRED BUT NOT MANDATORY
Must have the ability to communicate in English. Basic mathematical skills and ability to make accurate mathematical calculations using a 10-key. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties. Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. This role requires you to be punctual and stay awake.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
In order to maintain a positive guest and associate experience, your work habits should always strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, attendance, and your treatment of guests and staff. You should be adaptable in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones. You must have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something. This position requires some tech-savviness.

For applicants who will be working in California, the anticipated compensation for the position is $22.00 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
