The Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Front Desk Associate (Floater) to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment, supporting both first and second shift operations.

Our Front Desk Associates are the face of the hotel-welcoming guests, solving problems, and ensuring every stay begins and ends with exceptional service.

Schedule & Pay

Full-time: 30-40 hours per week
Flexible schedule, floating between:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Weekend availability required
Pay range: $15 - $18/hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

As a Front Desk Associate, you will play an important role in creating positive guest experiences from arrival through departure.

Responsibilities include:

* Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival

* Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently and accurately

* Answer guest questions about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services

* Handle guest requests or concerns with patience, professionalism, and care

* Input and retrieve information from hotel computer systems

* Assign rooms based on guest preferences and availability

* Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries in a professional manner

* Maintain accurate cash handling and house bank responsibilities

* Assist with luggage storage when needed

* Communicate guest needs to other departments to ensure seamless service

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area

* Support the team and assist with other duties as assigned

* High school diploma or equivalent

Previous hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

What You'll Do

Schedule & Pay

Full-time: 30-40 hours per week

Flexible schedule, floating between:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Weekend availability required

Pay range: $15 - $18/hour, based on experience
