Front Office Supervisor
The Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a motivated, service-driven Front Office Supervisor to lead our team during second shift. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, supporting a team, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences during one of the busiest times of the day.
As a Front Office Supervisor, you will oversee front desk operations, support associates, and ensure every guest interaction reflects our commitment to People Pleasing People.
Schedule & Pay
Full-time position
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Weekend availability required
Pay range: $18 $20/hour, commensurate with experience

What You'll Do
As a Front Office Supervisor, you will lead front desk operations during your shift and ensure a seamless guest experience.
Responsibilities include:
Supervise and support front desk associates and bell staff as needed
Serve as the primary point of contact for guest concerns and escalations
Ensure efficient and accurate check-in and check-out processes
Monitor room inventory, availability, and upgrades
Assist with VIP arrivals, group check-ins, and special requests
Handle guest concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
Maintain accurate cash handling and house bank procedures
Ensure completion of daily checklists and shift responsibilities
Communicate effectively with housekeeping and other departments
Complete shift reports and pass-along notes
Support training, coaching, and development of front desk associates
Maintain front desk organization and cleanliness
Step in to assist the team during busy periods

Previous front desk or guest service experience required
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to lead, coach, and support a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems
Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
