BAS Controls Design Engineer – Atlanta, GA – $85,000–$115,000 + 10% Bonus + Excellent Benefits

A leading enterprise‑level building automation integrator is seeking a skilled BAS Controls Design Engineer for its Atlanta operation. This organization is known for delivering high-performance automation solutions for commercial buildings, mission-critical facilities, and large data centers, while offering excellent training and long-term advancement pathways.
Position Details:
Title: BAS Controls Design Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary: $85,000–$115,000 + 10% Bonus
Ideal Candidate:
Experience producing controls designs using AutoCAD or MS Visio
Preferred: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (not required)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop DDC network architecture, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts
Create, redline, and update floor plans, system drawings, and schematics
Write and refine sequences of operation (SOPs) for BAS projects
Review submittals, prepare RFIs, and support project documentation workflows
Design, layout, and validate controls graphics and associated content
Work collaboratively with Project Managers, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers
Support system integration using BACnet, Modbus, and related communication protocols
