Local Steel Warehouse Pay: $17.00/hour Schedule: Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Data Generalist to support daily warehouse operations through accurate data entry and inventory tracking. This role plays a key part in maintaining organized and up-to-date inventory records in a fast-paced steel warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily data entry related to inventory movement and stock levels
Maintain accurate inventory records within internal systems
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits
Verify incoming and outgoing materials against system records
Communicate discrepancies and assist with resolving inventory issues
Support warehouse team with administrative and computer-based tasks
Qualifications:
Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, spreadsheets)
Comfortable with general computer use and warehouse systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Previous inventory or data entry experience preferred but not required
Work Environment:
Warehouse setting (steel products)
Combination of office/data entry work and light warehouse interaction
