Business Development Manager – Corporate Events (Remote)
$90K–$100K Base + Commission | Unlimited PTO | 401K Match
A rapidly growing live event production and AV company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new corporate event partnerships across the Southwest. This role is ideal for a true hunter who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and closing deals in the corporate events space.
This position is fully remote, but success in the role comes from being active in your local market, networking, meeting clients in person, and building strong relationships within the events ecosystem.
The company produces high-end live, hybrid, and virtual events, including corporate meetings, product launches, trade shows, conventions, and experiential productions, delivering full-service staging, audio/visual, and creative production support.
What You’ll Do
Drive new business development by identifying and securing corporate event opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with event planners, marketing teams, and corporate decision makers
Conduct outbound prospecting and networking to generate new client partnerships
Schedule and attend 4+ new business meetings per week
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
Transition won accounts to internal Account Managers after closing
Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and occasional onsite activations
Leverage CRM tools and internal resources to track pipeline and manage sales activity
What They’re Looking For
3+ years of sales experience in corporate events, event production, or AV
Proven ability to generate and close new business
Experience producing $1M+ in annual sales
Strong existing network or book of business in the events industry
Comfortable with cold outreach, networking, and hunting for opportunities
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote environment
