Quality Technician

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday 7:00-3:00 PM

The Quality Technician is a hands-on role based on the production floor, focused on inspecting composite and aircraft parts to ensure they meet safety, regulatory, and customer standards. This position supports in-process and final inspections, utilizes measurement tools, and maintains precise documentation. It plays a vital part in upholding quality and compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is not a desk-based engineering positionit involves active floor presence, working closely with operators and reporting to a Quality Supervisor. The role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with inspection processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Conduct in-process and final visual inspections of composite aerospace parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.


• Identify and document nonconformances using precision measurement tools and visual inspection criteria.


• Dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc..


• Document inspection results by written reports & electronic data entry into database or SAP


• Some level of analytical ability to assess and implemented quality engineering decisions


• Support and engage in our AEC Quality System.


• Continuously improve job knowledge through training and individual work
