Job Summary
This position will work with the unit to help develop & execute communication strategies and tactics. Primary responsibilities are in supporting internal and external communications as an effort to promote positive public image and tell the unit’s story by producing deliverables in a variety of formats.

Responsibilities

Graduate School Webpage Development – Responsible for designing, creating, and optimizing TGS web pages, web forms, features, page navigation, back‑end organization, coding and architecture, drafting and editing content, optimizing photos, using AU web systems, ensuring accessibility, and writing regular updates.

Graduate School Webpage Maintenance – Maintain and update TGS web pages, serve as resource for graduate program content, monitor alignment across units, perform routine audits, evaluate and update content, develop new content/pages, collaborate with TGS Admissions and maintain TGS announcements/events.

On‑Campus Collaborations – Work with departmental representatives, define content goals, workflow, authoring, approving, publishing; collaborate with DCM to ensure standards; partner with TGS stakeholders, use Jagwire to increase exposure, share content with other units.

Web Analytics & Data Analysis – Research market trends, track and analyze user experience data, support academic programs, assess outcome expectations, report on visibility and impact, use analytics to expand content, inform changes, increase traffic.

Development of Online Content for TGS and Support Grad Programs – Lead planning and coordination of TGS social media, ensure accessibility, take pictures, write content, develop videos, create flyers/announcements/forms, write SOPs and guidelines, publish news stories for Jagwire, serve as POC for media content and special events.

Other – Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of two years combined professional experience in web publishing, web design or web development or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Experience in photography and photographic manipulation.

Previous higher‑education experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge – Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/database systems.

Skills – Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; detail‑oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.

Abilities – Maintain confidentiality; coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, keep accurate records, make independent decisions.

Shift / Salary / Benefits
Shift: Days; M‑F (Work outside of the standard business hours may be required)

Pay Band: B9

Salary: $48,800 – $61,000 annually (commensurate with qualifications within the established range)

Benefits: Health, dental, life insurance; Teachers Retirement System (or Optional Retirement Plan); earned vacation time, sick leave, 13 paid holidays; Tuition Assistance Program available after 6 months of employment.
