Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, and delivering product by car and to customer's door. Training and communication skills are required, along with ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers. Essential functions and skills include ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately, make correct monetary change, enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and motor coordination for precise movements with speed. Work conditions include exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees to over 90 degrees, fumes from food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing includes talking and hearing on telephone, near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks, depth perception, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and hand tasks. Requires valid driver license with safe driving record meeting company standards and access to insured vehicle for delivery. Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within designated delivery area are essential. Physical demands during delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages, driving within a designated delivery area, walking from store and delivery vehicle to customer's location and back, and navigating adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
