Dispatcher Position
PrideStaff Financial on behalf of a client located in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a calm, organized, and reliable Dispatcher who will be the primary contact for incoming non-emergency requests.
Responsibilities:
Receive and process incoming non-emergency calls from the public, clients, or field staff.
Coordinate the schedules and routes of field technicians, transport units, or service personnel.
Monitor the real-time location and progress of field units to provide accurate ETAs to callers.
Log detailed information into the dispatch system
Qualifications:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on active listening.
A strong spatial sense and the ability to read digital maps or GPS data quickly.
A patient demeanor, especially when dealing with frustrated callers or busy field crews.
The ability to type while talking and toggle between multiple software screens.
Previous experience in logistics, customer service, or a call center environment
