
Business Development Manager – Medical, Lab & Analytics

RESPONSIBILITIES:* Responsible for business growth by using many tools to interactively reach potential new customers, driving specification of Burkert products* Coordinate marketing efforts with the Marketing Coordinator and Industry Portfolio Manager which at minimum includes; product launches, lunch and learns, trade shows, data sheets along with other sales and marketing activities and documentation* Identify and assist with the generation and advancement of new opportunities and projects within the Medical, Lab & Analytics Industry* Promote duplication of sales success within the Medical, Lab & Analytics industry* Drive the specifications of Burkert Solutions at: OEMs, Contract Design & Manufacturing firms, Integrators and Corporate level focusing on New Customer Development* Work closely with the ASMS to actively promote Burkert products within key customers and targeted prospects* Develop a list of target accounts to pursue for growth in the Medical, Lab & Analytics market and ensure organizational alignment of target accounts* Provide bi-weekly report on key targeted accounts and communicate that information in company CRM tool* Coordinate with the Industry Portfolio Manager to conduct training for company employees and customers on products and application opportunities in your specific market.* Maintain a current market strategy at all times.\*This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected.
