Overview We’re looking for a collaborative and skilled Mechanical Review Board Design Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on solving technical challenges in fast-paced defense programs and making a direct impact on mission success.
Responsibilities Support Mechanical Review Board activities and investigations; lead investigative efforts and report status to interdisciplinary teams as required.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, documents, parts lists, and specifications.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address non-conforming materials and processes.
Contribute to resolving root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Travel to supplier sites and Orlando sites as needed.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, preferably in an engineering-related field.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and the ability to perform tolerance analysis.
Minimum 2 years of experience with Creo design software.
Root cause and corrective action experience.
Ability to work with minimal oversight or supervision.
Ability to read engineering drawings, documents, parts lists, and specifications.
Ability to lead investigative effort and report status to interdisciplinary teams.
Willingness to travel to supplier and Orlando sites as needed.
Desired Skills Previous Material Review Board experience.
Experienced with CREO, Windchill PLM and SAP.
Knowledge of additively manufactured aluminum parts and ceramic grinding.
Experience with hardware manufacturing of aluminum, titanium, and armet parts.
Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
