We are currently looking for a

Senior Attorney

with experience in Estate Planning, in addition to either Family Law or Civil Litigation.
Job Description

The

Senior Attorney

will represent our diverse clientele in all legal proceedings pertaining to their cases, provide legal counsel, and draft legal documentation. As a Senior Attorney, you will be a subject matter expert and serve as a mentor to Junior Associates in the firm.
Job Duties

Prepare various legal documents related to the firm's trust and estate practice, such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives.
Assist with the preparation of documents for probate, trust administration, guardianships, and conservatorships.
Engage in strategy review sessions with clients to understand the facts and goals, and prepare a Case Plan for each client.
Draft legal pleadings and forms, including complaints, declarations, discovery requests, responses, and memorandums.
Conduct research and compile evidence for cases.
Collect, maintain, and organize evidence for all aspects of family law litigation (trials, motions, mediations, etc.).
Prepare for and appear at trial and contested hearings, depending on experience.
Manage personal caseload and ensure proper and timely billing.
Minimum Requirements

Successful completion of a Juris Doctorate Degree or its equivalent as allowed under the State Bar Act.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Estate Planning, Family Law, or Civil Litigation.

Conflict resolution skills and problem-solving ability.
Bilingual in Mandarin/English.
License, Certificate, and Registration Requirements

Must be an active member, in good standing, of the State Bar of California.
Physical Requirements

Visual capacity and dexterity to operate office equipment, read, proofread, and view information on a computer screen.
