Overview
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive new business development and expand existing relationships across the Western Region. This role focuses on promoting and selling permanent fall protection and safety systems by partnering with end users, installation partners, and manufacturer representatives. The ideal candidate will combine strong consultative selling skills with the ability to educate customers on technical product solutions while delivering exceptional service and support. This is a highly relationship-driven role with significant travel and opportunities to directly impact revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Execute territory sales strategies that drive new account development and revenue growth.

Manage and grow an existing book of business while identifying opportunities for expansion.

Prospect and generate new leads and sales opportunities within the assigned territory.

Educate customers on product features, specifications, and benefits to support informed purchasing decisions.

Provide technical product guidance and recommendations based on project needs, specifications, and availability.

Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high levels of customer service.

Collaborate with end users nationwide to support direct sales and long-term partnerships.

Develop and maintain relationships with third‑party installation partners to support project execution.

Conduct jobsite visits and facility assessments to recommend appropriate fall protection solutions and assist with system design.

Partner with manufacturer representatives and internal sales teams to expand product knowledge and market reach.

Support training and knowledge sharing regarding permanent fall protection systems.

Travel frequently (approximately 70%+) within the territory to support customer engagement and business development.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of equivalent sales experience.

MUST sit in TEXAS.

Experience working in commercial construction, industrial safety, roofing, fall protection, or related building systems.

Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Comfortable leveraging technology, cloud‑based tools, and digital platforms to manage territory activity and sales performance.

Benefits
Salary: 100-130k base + commission + bonus + benefits
