Job Description
The Sanitation Supervisor
directs and supervises the cleaning of the plant food production equipment and facility to meet food safety
requirements. Their leadership is critical to ensure products are delivered to their customers in a timely and correctly.
Essential Functions:
Oversee daily sanitation operations implementing company policies related to a clean work environment.
Ensures compliance with all Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP)
Leads, and coordinates work assignments of sanitation crew.
Managing master sanitation schedule
Ensure sanitation crew is trained.
Develop and present sanitation, GMP, and food safety training programs.
Policy compliance of what comes into the dishroom
Audit all sanitation and food safety training programs to ensure compliance.
Work with USDA and other governmental agencies as needed.
Prepares reports on inspections, corrects deficiencies, and implements action steps.
Controls chemicals used in the sanitation process and trains sanitation crew.
Assisting Production Manager with the planning and organization of the Food Departments needs
Performing Daily Briefings with employees
Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
Coaching and training of employees
Give clear expectations to employees to prevent misunderstanding.
Perform all other duties as directed by the management team.
Follow established rules of each unit for entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by unit management.

Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as Sanitation Supervisor in a food production environment.
A minimum of 3 years' Experience in the food manufacturing industry.
You must also be familiar with the safe application of disinfectants and other chemicals.
Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
Knowledge of Food Industry quality, sanitation standards and requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, specifically in Excel, word and email
Supervisory Responsibility
