We’re looking for a driven Stockist Business Development Manager to lead sales growth across the Deep South U.S. territory. In this role, you’ll develop and execute a regional growth strategy aligned with market sales goals, with a strong focus on expanding and supporting our network of stocking dealers. You’ll be responsible for identifying and opening new distribution points while also strengthening relationships with existing stockists to drive same-store sales growth and long-term performance.

This position is offered on a full time basis, working a mixture at home and out on the road. The ideal candidate should be based in either Denver, Colorado or Dallas, Texas.

What we expect from you as a Stockist Business Development Manager:
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a targeted growth strategy for the territory, delivering against business plans and sales revenue targets.

Business Development & Account Growth

Build strong relationships with key Stockist Partners to grow sales through existing distribution.

Identify and secure new Stockist accounts to expand sales volume and geographic reach.

Drive same-store sales in line with performance targets.

Training, Engagement & Brand Advocacy

Deliver product and color knowledge training for Stockists, painting contractors, and designers.

Drive consumer engagement through local marketing initiatives, events, and outreach.

Partner with outside sales teams to convert product specifications through to contractors.

Lead engagement through trade events, pro shows, and lead generation activity.

Act as the regional expert on F&B products, specifications, and brand standards.

Support and train Stockist teams to build confident brand ambassadors.

Provide expertise on the B2B website.

Territory & Account Management

Monitor inventory levels and ensure appropriate stockholding.

Maintain accurate customer records, sales reporting, and account forecasts.

Manage customer relationships to deliver exceptional service, prioritizing time using the 80/20 principle.

Negotiate and optimize F&B brand presence in Stockist locations.

Track local customer, market, and competitor activity.

Marketing, Brand Experience & Operations

Execute new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and marketing events.

Analyze territory performance and adjust strategy to achieve sales goals.

Partner with Stockists to ensure premium in-store brand presentation, customer service standards, and effective stock rotation.

Share best practices across the team to drive a culture of success.

Maintain Health & Safety standards, operational excellence, and the Farrow & Ball brand image at all times.

Key Attributes

Strong sales background with a minimum of 5 years related professional selling experience.

Background working with independent dealers or paint specifiers is a plus.

Product training expertise.

Paint product knowledge & application experience is a plus.

Experience with retail operations preferred.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong market and industry knowledge - premium/super-premium products.

Self‑directed/motivated and results oriented.

Solid computer/time management/prioritization skills. Strong oral and written presentation skills.

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must have a car.

Ability to work and travel within assigned territory 80% of the time.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
