Job Description
Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager or Supply Chain Consultant, oversees a large logistical area with a focus on inventory control, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making to establish an efficient, lean supply support system that meets the operational and clinical needs of OSUWMC.
Analyzes and optimizes inventory management processes, including replenishment strategies, cycle counts, and Kanban system updates, to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Conducts data-driven audits and process evaluations to identify discrepancies, improve stock accuracy, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Stages and oversees inventory receiving for large Kanban implementation projects, ensuring seamless integration of new supply assets. Provides support in resolving match exceptions by collaborating with procurement, finance, and supply chain teams to maintain accurate records and compliance with organizational policies.
This role requires strong analytical skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and a commitment to operational efficiency, ensuring the supply chain effectively supports clinical and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field and two years of relevant experience in inventory management, process improvement, lean manufacturing, supply chain operations, healthcare operations, project management, logistics management, purchasing, demand planning, vendor management, or global trade.
