Position Summary
Colite Technologies is seeking a warehouse intern to assist in shipping and receiving, material management and inventory control of our warehouse located in Columbia SC.
Primary Responsibilities
Schedule in-bound and outbound shipping and receiving of material ensuring material are shipped on time, within budget and accurate according to planned bill of material.
Assist Warehouse Manager with internal customers in the Project Management and Field Installation teams to ensure materials are delivered to site completely, without damage and on-time.
Maintain layout and shelving to maximize efficient use of floorspace and workflow.
Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory management strategies to ensure stock accuracy, minimize stockouts and reduce excess inventory.
Allocate necessary space for staging project materials.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and company vehicle detailing as needed.
Promote a safe work environment by advocating that all employees meet internal and external safety standards; conduct regular reviews to ensure equipment is safely maintained and material safely stored.
