We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join our Accounting team in El Segundo. This role offers hands‑on experience in corporate accounting principles and financial processes while developing technical and analytical skills in a fast‑paced data center environment. Working directly with our accounting team, you'll gain valuable experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounts payable analysis.
Key Accountabilities
Assist in compiling and preparing monthly financial statements
Support the accounts payable team with creating purchase orders and inputting invoices
Communicate with vendors regarding invoice inquiries and discrepancies
Review aging reports and assist with follow‑up actions
Perform daily bank reconciliations
Participate in special finance projects as assigned
Present financial findings and project results at the end of the internship
Required Skills
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work with financial data and perform reconciliations
Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of NetSuite or similar financial systems
