Salary:
This is a full-time, twelve (12) month position at 232 days with a minimum annual salary of $81,352.00.
Job Summary (Primary Purpose):
Design, develop, and deliver training and/or provide educational tools and resources pertaining to continuous improvement. Coordinate efforts across the service centers to ensure seamless services to clients around continuous improvement initiatives. Facilitate targeted implementation of high-leverage best practice efforts with external partners and internal staff.
Required Qualifications (Experience, Education and Certificates):
Master's Degree
Teaching Certificate
Minimum three (3) years experience in campus administration or district office administration
Preferred Qualifications (Experience, Education and Certificates):
Experience in coaching campus/district administrators
Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and shared decision making
Experience in developing content and delivering presentations based on adult learning strategies
Proficient use of technology for workplace productivity and presentation
Knowledge of evaluation systems for teachers and administrators
Ability to analyze state, regional, district and campus data
Proficiency in supporting campus and district leaders in the application of new learning
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in self-directed work, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of current research based best practices for leadership
Knowledge of a variety of training methodologies, principles of adult learning, and effective staff development practices
Major Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Serve as a representative of ESC Region 13, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public
Provide professional development and technical assistance to campus leaders, district leaders, and internal staff around continuous improvement initiatives
Work with local and statewide clients to communicate requirements of state evaluation systems
Collect and analyze LEA data from a variety of qualitative and quantitative sources to assist in designing strategic continuous improvement plans and/or facilitating data analysis protocols at the LEA
Attend training and turn around learning via face-to-face or virtual professional development, implementation support, and coaching to campus and district leadership regarding best practices for campus systems
Attend meetings regarding teacher and administrator evaluation, assist with the development of required reports, and when needed, attend Statewide ESC meetings and State-level meetings with TEA
Translate complex federal and state guidance documents into client-centered resources and tools
Perform other duties as assigned
