Network Production Coordinator

BYUtv | BYUradio is seeking a highly organized and driven Network Production Coordinator to support the execution of productions across live sports, studio programming, and special events. At BYU Broadcasting, we create content that entertains, uplifts, and inspires. Our mission is rooted in values, built with creativity, and designed to make a difference for audiences everywhere.

In this role, you'll be at the center of production operations, coordinating logistics, managing workflows, and ensuring every project runs smoothly from planning through delivery as assigned by the Network Coordinating Producer. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and wants hands-on experience across a wide range of media productions.

What You'll Do in This Position:

Coordinate production schedules, resources, and logistics for multiple projects simultaneously
Support live sports (120+ events), studio productions, and campus-based programming
Manage rights, clearances, and compliance (music, talent, locations, etc.)
Track deliverables, workflows, and production milestones using internal systems
Assist Network Coordinating Producer with budgeting, cost tracking, purchasing, and financial documentation
Provide on-set and operational support, including working with student crews and contractors
Help hire, train, and schedule student employees
Collaborate with Production, Creative, Legal, and other internal teams to ensure seamless execution
What Qualifies You for This Role:

Required A firm commitment to the mission of BYU and BYU Broadcasting
Bachelor's degree in TV/media production or a related field OR equivalent experience
1+ year of experience as a Production Coordinator/APOC (or 4+ years equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of film/television production workflows and budgeting practices
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines
Preferred 3+ years of production coordination experience
Familiarity with production tracking systems and workflow tools
Experience with live broadcast or studio production environments

Pay Grade : 52

Typical Starting Pay: $65,500 - $84,500

The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate's job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
