A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FORKLIFT OPERATOR 2
As a Forklift Operator 2, the bulk of your day consists of using a forklift to move oversized materials (specifically 10-foot tubing) around the parking lot, bring materials to the production area, and load and unload flatbed trucks. Must be able to read and speak English (bilingual Spanish/English a plus). Your physical stamina shines as you occasionally lift heavy items and
work mostly outdoors . You have great attention to detail to
ensure safety at all times . OSHA Forklift Certification is a PLUS!
WORK SCHEDULE FOR A FORKLIFT OPERATOR 2
This industrial warehouse position will train for 3-4 weeks on a daytime shift (some flexibility with hours). Once fully trained, the forklift operator will move to a second shift (final hours to be determined, but approximately 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Monday - Friday). Weekend overtime may occasionally be available.
