Qualifications
General job duties for all store team members:
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training: Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication skills:
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and colleagues to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions/Skills
Math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide accurately and quickly; calculator permitted.
Make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements with speed.
Enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen.
WORK CONDITIONS
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas.
Sudden temperature changes.
Fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler, hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts.
SENSING
Talking and hearing on telephone.
Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
Depth perception.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
TEMPERAMENTS
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing: most tasks performed from standing.
Walking: short distances.
Sitting: paperwork normally completed at desk/table.
Lifting: bulk deliveries, 50‑lb cases via hand truck.
Carrying: large cans, pizza sauce, dough.
Pushing: trays on dollies, force up to 7.5 lb.
Climbing: stairs, ladders for maintenance.
Additional Information
Stooping/Bending: forward bending at pizza assembly station, 30–45 s at a time frequently.
Crouching/Squatting: occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reaching: up, down, forward; up to 72 in to turn on/off ovens, change signs, lift/lower objects.
Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination, forceful forearm/wrist use, handling pizza peel, cutter, boxes.
Machines/Tools: pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, peel.
Driving Specific Job Duties
Deliver product by car to customer door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
REQUIRES
Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
Essential Skills
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, other delivery sites while carrying product.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Carrying: pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
Driving: deliver pizzas within designated area; multiple deliveries per shift.
Walking: between store, vehicle, and customer location.
