JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

Manage everything that happens during your shift: cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.

Set the example and follow all policies 100% of the time, expecting the same from crew.

Handle staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, image adherence, standards, customer service, attendance, punctuality, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing and profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, walk‑in cooler and work area.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

TRAINING
Orientation and training provided on the job.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Comprehend and give correct written instructions.

Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/SKILLS

Accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide (may use calculator).

Make correct monetary change.

Verbal, writing and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

WORK CONDITIONS

Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.

In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas.

Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.

Fumes from food odors.

Exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

SENSING

Talking and hearing on telephone.

Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.

Depth perception.

Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

TEMPERAMENTS
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position.

Walking: short distances and short durations on ceramic tile or linoleum; work surfaces between 36" and 48".

Sitting: paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.

Lifting: bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds; items weighed up to 50 pounds with dimensions up to 3' × 1.5'.

Carrying: large cans, pizza sauce, pizza dough trays, and other items for short distances.

Pushing: trays placed on dollies; force up to 7.5 pounds.

Climbing: occasional navigation of stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS (CONTINUED)
Stooping / Bending, Crouching / Squatting, Reaching, Hand Tasks, Machines/Toys/Equipment, Work Aids: use of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, pizza peel, etc.

DRIVING SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

Deliver product by car to the customer's door.

Deliver flyers and door hangers.

REQUIRES

Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.

Access to an insured vehicle usable for delivery.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS (DRIVING)

Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.

Navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (DRIVING)

Carrying: carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.

Driving: deliver pizzas within a designated area, make several deliveries per shift.

Walking: travel between store and delivery vehicle and to customer locations.

Climbing: navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery.

WORK CONDITIONS (DRIVING)

Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving and couponing.

Far vision and night vision for driving.
