Location: Remote / Field-Based (60%+ travel) in Chicagoland area
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Permanent
Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 base salary + quarterly bonus
Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within an underperforming automotive territory by identifying, qualifying, and converting high-potential customers through a hunter-focused sales approach.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Drive new business growth and expand sales within existing accounts across an assigned territory
Conduct high-volume outbound sales activity via phone, email, and in-person field visits
Complete 20–25 meaningful sales conversations per day and 60+ outbound dials when in-office
Visit 5–10 customer sites per day while in the field
Qualify prospects based on buying activity (tint, PPF, color changes, volume)
Maintain accurate Salesforce documentation for all customer interactions
Analyze territory performance data to identify growth opportunities
Plan and execute efficient travel schedules using Salesforce mapping tools
Partner closely with internal sales resources to review pipeline, tasks, and territory strategy
Requirements
3+ years of sales experience (inside and/or outside sales)
Proven hunter mentality with a strong drive for outbound prospecting
High activity sales background with measurable KPIs
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems
Strong phone presence and ability to initiate conversations quickly
Competitive, coachable mindset with a desire to win and grow
Willingness to travel 60%+ throughout Illinois + Chicagoland area
Nice-to-Haves
Distribution or wholesale sales experience
Automotive, automotive parts, or auto shop sales experience
Experience selling film, vinyl, tint, or PPF products
