Admissions Rep/Registrar, Part Time
Responsible for managing patient intake and registration process in a hospital setting. Ensures accurate collection of patient information, verification of insurance coverage and completion of required documentation prior to treatment or admission.
Verify insurance eligibility, obtain authorizations, maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
Qualifications
Education Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 1–3 years in hospital admissions, patient registration, medical office or related healthcare environment; 3+ years preferred.
Skills: Strong customer service, excellent verbal & written communication, detail oriented, strong organizational abilities, accurate data entry, basic computer knowledge; knowledge of basic medical terminology; understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
License / Certification: N/A.
