Inventory Control Specialist
Location: Vernon, CA Company: Kevidko Inc.
About the Role
Kevidko Inc is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy and inbound processes within our warehouse operation.
This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining accurate inventory, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring system data reflects physical stock. The position also supports receiving entry and inbound administrative tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Control:
Perform cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Process and document inventory adjustments
Maintain accurate bin locations and product placement
Identify root causes of:
mis-picks
receiving errors
stock variances
Work closely with warehouse leadership to improve inventory organization and replenishment
Receiving:
Perform digital receiving (ERP entry) for inbound shipments
Verify received quantities against purchase orders
Identify and report shortages, overages, and damages
Ensure timely and accurate receipt data updates
Additional Support:
Assist with inventory transfers and tracking
Support process improvements related to inventory accuracy
Maintain clean and organized system data
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on role with approximately 60–70% of time spent on the warehouse floor
Frequent walking, standing, and moving throughout the warehouse
Ability to lift and move products (up to 50 lbs as needed)
Use of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (forklift experience preferred; training available)
Desk work for data entry and reporting
This is not a desk-only role. Candidates must be comfortable working actively on the warehouse floor.
Requirements
Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or similar role
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy
Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies, not just count inventory
Basic proficiency with Excel, QuickBooks and inventory/ERP systems
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Compensation
$23 – $25/hour, depending on experience
Review after 60–90 days based on performance
