
Litigation/Trial Assistant - Augusta

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a legal environment; seasoned administrative professionals will also be considered.
Responsibilities
Assist with all document prep, correspondence, case summaries, communications with the Court, Clerk, and all pleadings/exhibit/subpoenas, etc. required for proceedings and appeals.
Assist with document and information management.
Respond as requested by attorneys to all inquiries from the public.
Assist with incoming/outgoing communications.
Assist with trial preparation.
Assist with prep for Board meetings and Continuing Legal Education tasks.
Keep apprised of attorney calendars.
Other duties as needed.
A strong work ethic, ability to work independently, excellent spelling and grammar, organizational skills, communication skills, attention to detail, and a working knowledge of MS Office are required to be successful in this position.
Requirements
Two employment references.
Mature work ethic.
Legal experience preferred.
Paralegal Certification or Associates degree is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years administrative assistant experience required.
Office Hours
8:30 to 5:00 Monday - Thursday
8:30 to 4:00 Friday
