Paralegal - Medical Malpractice (Bismarck, ND)

Meagher & Geer, a nationally recognized litigation defense and insurance coverage law firm, is hiring a *Litigation Paralegal* for our Bismarck, ND office. This is a dynamic opportunity to join a collaborative team working on complex cases, particularly in medical malpractice defense.*Responsibilities:** Draft legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials* Request, organize, and summarize medical and non-medical records* Prepare deposition and trial materials, including subpoenas and exhibits* Manage case files and deadlines across multiple matters* Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, and court personnel* Support attorneys with trial prep, document production, and motion practice*Requirements:** Bachelor’s Degree and Paralegal Certificate (ABA-accredited)* 6+ years of litigation defense experience (medical malpractice preferred)* Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems (e.g., iManage)* Experience with time and billing software (e.g., Aderant)* Medical background or experience reviewing medical records is a plus* Ability to meet billable hour requirements and work overtime as neededJoin a firm that values excellence, teamwork, and professional growth.
