
Litigation Paralegal

Our client, a well-regarded boutique firm in Marin County, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years of experience in California state courts.
This is a hybrid opportunity with a true lifestyle firm that values work-life balance while maintaining a high level of legal excellence.
A background in (or strong interest in)Trusts and Estates litigation is required.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and analysis
Draft, proofread, and edit a variety of legal documents
Prepare pleadings, correspondence, and other legal writings
Draft, finalize, and serve discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and deposition notices
Prepare, issue, and serve subpoenas for depositions, trial, and records (both personal appearance and business records)
Track and follow up on outstanding subpoenas
Manage document collection, organization, and logging from clients and third parties
Perform document review to identify and analyze evidence for discovery and trial
Prepare and organize witness files and information
Summarize discovery responses and deposition transcripts
Organize materials for hearings, arbitrations, and trial
Maintain and manage case files throughout the litigation lifecycle
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of civil litigation experience, ideally with exposure to trusts and estates litigation
Strong knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure and Rules of Court
Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with legal tools such as Westlaw, Clio, e-filing platforms, Rapid Legal, and/or Relativity
Collaborative team, sophisticated work, and a great culture (with a sense of humor).
