Overview
We are a growing home care agency seeking an experienced and driven Full Commission/Community Liaison to help expand our client base and build relationships within the community. As a full commission position, this role offers the opportunity for unlimited earning potential based on performance. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, resourceful, and passionate about connecting families and individuals with high-quality home care services.
Primary Responsibilities
Research and develop referral provider network relationships and produce referrals.
Perform all phases of the consultative sales process, including preparation and documentation of cold calls, follow-up calls, and diagnosis of referral and client needs, and recommendation of appropriate A Place At Home services and additional community resources, maintaining and nurturing existing referral accounts and following up as necessary.
Achieve inquiry generation objectives for the assigned territory with the primary goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share. Target accounts include hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, rehabilitation centers, etc.
Develop and maintain comprehensive understanding of the A Place At Home brand.
Present A Place At Home marketing materials and services to referral providers, including 1:1 meetings, as well as planning, arranging, and conducting formal group presentations to referral providers.
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the assigned territory.
Conduct Care Consultations as needed.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
Participate in and contribute to the development of educational programs offered to clients and prospects.
Education/Experience Requirements
College degree required or 3-5 years equivalent work experience.
Related business or sales experience (consultative sales a plus).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information, and meet deadlines.
Effective interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and good decision-making.
Discretion, integrity, and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies, and procedures.
Ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly tasks.
Ability to establish good working relationships with office colleagues, the franchise owner, clients, and community.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Computer skills; proficient in Word and Excel.
Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development, ideally within healthcare or home care industry.
Strong network and established relationships within healthcare or senior services community preferred.
Ability to build trust and credibility with clients, families, and referral sources.
Strong organizational and time management skills, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Basic understanding of home care services and the healthcare system.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the local area.
Compensation Structure
Full Commission-Based Earnings
Unlimited earning potential based on acquisition of new clients and signed client agreements.
Commission Rates on New Billable Business
12% monthly commission on new billable business up to $50,000.
15% monthly commission on all new billable business exceeding $50,000.
Year-End Bonus
5% year-end commission on all new billable business acquired throughout the year.
