Technical & Business Recruiter

Counsel Health, Boston, MA, United States

About The Role
We’re looking for a

Technical & Business Recruiter

to identify, engage, and close top-tier talent as we scale Counsel Health’s recruiting engine. In this role, you’ll drive full-cycle hiring across the entire organization, from technical EPD roles (Engineering, Product, Design) and AI Research to critical Go-To-Market (GTM) functions like Sales, Marketing, and Operations. You’ll blend high-velocity execution with strategic thinking: supporting the design of scalable processes, building robust pipelines, and crafting narratives that attract the best talent from healthcare, AI, and high-growth startups. You’ll be a key contributor to our hiring strategy, helping us refine how we attract and evaluate diverse talent in a competitive, fast-moving landscape. You’ll thrive here if you’re a

multilingual recruiter —someone who can navigate a technical architectural discussion just as comfortably as a deep dive into sales commissions or brand strategy.

What You’ll Be Working On

Full-Cycle Execution: Lead recruiting across all functions, including AI Research, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Ops, driving an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach to close.

Strategic Partnership: Partner with founders and hiring managers across both technical and business teams to define requirements, craft compelling job descriptions, and refine Counsel’s talent bar.

Process Optimization: Contribute to the build-out of recruiting processes, metrics, and our Ashby ATS workflows to improve speed, quality, and data integrity.

Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute creative sourcing campaigns and employer branding initiatives to attract "top 1%" talent across the AI and HealthTech ecosystems.

Market Intelligence: Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing market insights on compensation, equity trends, and talent availability for both technical and non-technical roles.

DEI Advocacy: Embed inclusive hiring practices and champion diversity, equity, and representation as core pillars of Counsel’s growth.

Requirements

4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a proven mix of technical and business/GTM hiring in a high-growth environment.

Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of engineering skill sets (Full-stack, ML/AI, Data) and the ability to credibly screen technical talent.

Business Versatility: Experience hiring for non-technical roles such as Sales, Growth, Marketing, or Operations.

Proven AI Track Record: Experience hiring AI Researchers or ML engineers within high-growth or AI-native environments is a significant advantage.

Process Oriented: Experience working within (and helping to optimize) scalable recruiting processes and metrics.

Data-Driven: Proficiency with modern ATS systems (Ashby experience is a major plus) and other AI recruiting tools, with a focus on data integrity and reporting.

Outbound Expertise: Proven success in building and executing proactive sourcing strategies for niche, senior, or highly specialized roles across all departments.

You’re a Great Fit If

Your background includes experience in HealthTech, Digital Health, or AI-driven startups.

You are a 'recruiting athlete' — you enjoy the variety of working on a Backend Engineer one day and a Head of Growth the next.

You enjoy the 'building' phase of a company — you’re comfortable with ambiguity and excited to help improve existing systems.

You are highly analytical and love using data to tell a story about the recruiting funnel.

Role Location
NYC – hybrid, Boston – hybrid, or East Coast – remote.
