
2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

This is a 2nd Shift position 1:00-9:30 PM
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum 3 years electrical experience in Industrial manufacturing
Carry out daily instructions and assignments given by Team Leader or Supervisor
Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance activity
Improve equipment by carrying out corrective maintenance activity
Troubleshoot and repair equipment using test equipment and/or software provided, and apply knowledge of troubleshooting
Work safely - following all safety instructions and standards
Communicate all daily activity
Inform and update work status
Submit all paperwork at end of shift
Skills & Abilities
Ability to troubleshoot using laptop to PLC
Ability to troubleshoot down to the board level
Ability to program a PLC
Possess a good understanding of ladder logic
Have experience with Omron, Mitsubishi, PLC and touch screens
Have working knowledge of solid state control, power distribution systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and power transmission
Perform preventive maintenance on industrial production and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning industrial production equipment
Perform upgrades to equipment that supports improvements to safety, quality and on-time delivery
Ability to read and utilize electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
Candidates must be able to operate basic shop tools and equipment. Experience with robotics and digital servo drives is a plus.
Qualifications
Electrical Maintenance: 3 years
High School diploma or equivalent is required
Related work experience is required
Basic computer skills
