
Legal Intern

Firstrust Bank is a leading community bank seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern for the Summer. The intern will gain hands‑on experience in SBA and Legal, working closely with experienced employees to support the delivery of financial solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
Assist with reviewing credit memorandums, loan files, and underwriting materials.
Review borrower financial statements and support documentation.
Support regulatory and compliance‑related reviews of credit and client files.
Assist with client due diligence, including credit reports and collateral searches.
Conduct legal, regulatory, or industry research as assigned.
Support special projects related to process improvement or documentation standards.
Education, Training and Experience
High School degree and actively working toward completion of a college degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Ability to work with supervision to learn relationship management.
Demonstrated ability to apply judgment, take initiative, handle priorities, and work under general supervision.
Strong work habits, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
