Administrative Assistant
Position Overview

BGE, Inc. provides civil engineering, planning, landscape architecture, construction management, survey and environmental services for public and private clients. We seek professionals aligned with our core values of integrity, commitment, respect, and an excellent reputation.

Location: Frisco, TX 75034, USA

Job Responsibilities

Provide front‑desk administrative support to multiple departments within a Civil Engineering and Design firm.

Greet clients, answer and appropriately direct moderate incoming calls, and manage daily office operations.

Coordinate new hires regarding office space, computer/phone equipment, and supplies.

Oversee purchase of office supplies and overall front‑office activities.

Coordinate food ordering, catering, and room settings (20–25 monthly); set up and clean‑ups for breakfast, lunch, and office events.

Make travel arrangements and conference reservations as needed (5–6 monthly).

Respond to inquiries and informational requests.

Assist with composing, compiling, and binding marketing materials for project pursuits.

Prepare FedEx, UPS, and other express carrier packages for shipment.

Perform other duties as assigned, using judgment and initiative to determine the appropriate approach for non‑routine situations.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience and proven ability to work with limited supervision.

Professional and welcoming front‑office presence.

Civil engineering office support experience – preferred.

Excellent time‑management skills, and ability to coordinate with all levels of staff and handle multiple tasks.

Strong proofreading, editing skills, and grammar.

Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Experience working in the professional services industry is a plus. Dependability/Reliability is a must.
