to be the first point of contact for the reception area.

Job Responsibilities
Provide front-desk reception support and serve as a key point of contact for multiple departments within a civil engineering and design firm.
Greet clients, answer and appropriately direct a moderate amount incoming call, and manage daily office operations
Coordinate new hires regarding office space, computer/phone equipment, and supplies
Manages office supply purchasing and coordinates overall front office operations
Coordinate food ordering, catering, and room settings (20-25 events monthly). Set up and clean-ups for breakfast, lunch, and office events.
Make travel arrangements and conference reservations as needed (5-6 monthly)
Respond to inquiries and informational requests
Assist with composing, compiling, and binding marketing materials for project pursuits
Prepares FedEx, UPS, and other express carrier packages for shipment
Other duties as assigned and uses greater judgement and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' administrative experience, and proven ability to work with limited supervision
Exhibits a professional and welcoming front office presence
Must have excellent time management skills, and ability to coordinate with all levels of staff and handle multiple tasks
Strong proof reading and editing skills and grammar
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
*Previous civil engineering or commercial work environment - Preferred
*Dependability/Reliability is a must.
