Job Overview
We are seeking experiencedElectrical Foremento lead a crew of electricians on commercial projects ranging in size from $50k to $2.5M. Crew size on individual projects could be anywhere from 2 to 12, but will typically be about 4-6 electricians. On most projects, foremen are expected to work with their tools in addition to laying out work for the rest of the crew.
Full time, 40-hour work week, M-F, typically 7am-3:30pm with possibility of nights and weekends. Most projects are located in Manhattan, but must be able to reliably commute to all 5 boroughs and NJ as required.
This position includes full membership into United Service Workers Union (USWU) Local 363A, complete with Anthem BCBS healthcare insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, pension, annuity and 401(k), amongst other benefits.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a foreman or at least 10 years as an electrician on commercial projects ranging in size from $50k-$2.5M.
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems. Adept at reading & interpreting blueprints, with a strong understanding of NEC and NYC electrical codes, methods and practices.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with the crew, project manager, superintendent and general contractor.
A team-oriented leader with a hunger and drive to lead the team to success.
Pay:
$35.00 - $55.00 per hour
