to partner with a well-established, growing manufacturing company in North Atlanta on a search for a
Controller . This is a high-impact leadership role offering a strong combination of accounting oversight and strategic finance involvement, all within a company known for its excellent culture and true work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
Oversee preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages
Manage and develop a team of 4–5 accounting professionals
Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Provide insights into business performance, cost drivers, and operational efficiency
Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting processes
Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
Drive process improvements and system enhancements to support continued growth
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance to support decision-making
Qualifications
CPA required
7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
Experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Base salary up to $180,000 + Bonus
