Key Responsibilities
As the Controller, you will:
Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, and internal controls
Lead month-end close processes and review financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis
Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and external accounting firms
Oversee accounting staff and ensure accurate reporting across development and operating entities
Support cash management, development reporting, and financial analysis for leadership
Qualifications
Ideal candidates for this Controller role will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA required (MBA a plus)
10+ years of accounting experience with leadership responsibilities
Commercial real estate accounting experience required
Experience working with Yardi and strong Excel skills
