Commercial Hvac Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced commercial HVAC technicians for projects located in the Melbourne, FL area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $27-31/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial and light-industrial buildings
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform preventative maintenance, and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently
• Install, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units (RTUs), air handlers, chillers, VRF systems, boilers, and exhaust systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schematics, and equipment specifications to locate faults and plan installations
• Follow all OSHA and company safety policies when working on ladders, roofs, in mechanical rooms, and around live electrical equipment

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial HVAC experience
• Experience with RTUs, VRF, chillers, and building-automation
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification a plus
