Night Auditor / Security Officer (Security‑Focused Role)
Part‑Time | Overnight Shift
Position Summary
This role is primarily a Security Officer with secondary Night Audit responsibilities. The priority is to maintain a safe, quiet, and secure environment for guests, protect resort property, and uphold overnight operational standards. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, observant, reliable, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Security & Safety (Primary Focus)
Conduct scheduled property patrols (interior and exterior) to ensure safety, security, and policy compliance.
Monitor cameras, access points, alarms, and unusual activity throughout the night.
Respond promptly and professionally to noise complaints, disturbances, suspicious behavior, or emergencies.
Enforce hotel policies with calm authority and clear communication.
Secure all doors, storage areas, and restricted zones during and after patrols.
Document all incidents, safety concerns, and guest interactions in nightly security logs.
Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
Support guest well‑being with a safety‑first mindset at all times.
Night Audit & Front Desk Support (Secondary)
Assist late‑arrival guests with check‑ins and key distribution.
Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries with professionalism.
Maintain lobby cleanliness and readiness for morning operations.
Prepare simple morning setup tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior experience in security, hospitality, or night audit preferred.
Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
Comfortable working alone and making sound decisions.
Basic computer skills; ability to learn property management systems.
Must be able to walk the property, climb stairs, and perform routine patrols.
Must pass background screening.
