
Full-Charge Bookkeeper/Accounting Manager

United Staffing Associates is searching for an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager to support a successful company within the agricultural industry. This is a hands‑on role responsible for managing full-cycle accounting and payroll operations for multiple business entities on behalf of the company.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable owning day‑to‑day accounting functions with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting including general ledger, A/P, A/R, and reconciliations
Oversee multiple QuickBooks for all associated entities
Monitor cash flow, bank activity, and working capital; perform monthly reconciliations
Process weekly payroll, including timesheet review, payroll tax liabilities, and reporting
Prepare quarterly and annual payroll reports, W-2s, and 1099s
Generate client invoices and track incoming payments
Produce monthly financial reports, budget vs. actuals, and internal metrics
Support compliance with wage & hour laws and payroll regulations
Assist with workers’ compensation reporting and audits
Communicate with clients and internal leadership regarding financial activity
Handle light administrative/office coordination tasks as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field preferred
5+ years of hands‑on accounting and payroll experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, payroll compliance, and tax reporting
Advanced QuickBooks proficiency required; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
Ability to manage multiple entities/accounts with accuracy and efficiency
Prior experience in agriculture, farming, or service‑based industries is a plus
Compensation
$38 – $50/hour (DOE)
