Senior Maintenance Technician at Shriners Children’s Hospital
This full‑time position assists in maintenance duties required to keep the hospital’s physical structure and associated equipment and systems in good working condition, including minor electrical, mechanical, piping, plumbing and HVAC work.
Schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating weekend calls every 5–6 weeks.
Pay range: $28.59 to $42.89 per hour, based on experience and department equity.
Responsibilities
Operate, inspect, maintain, calibrate and repair utility equipment, systems and structures throughout the building.
Perform mechanical repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and HVAC.
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure proper equipment operation.
Ensure proper safety education and demonstrate knowledge of facility safety policies.
Cover evening, night and weekend shifts as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
HS Diploma/GED.
2+ years of maintenance/engineering experience.
Plumbing experience.
Trade services preferred.
