Responsibilities
Assistin with carrying out and coordination of events, event set up and logistics, managing boothes/activities, event clean up, etc.
Assist with event errands in preparation of the events.
Assist with set up and take down of evernt equipment including tables and staging.
Assits with setup, operation, takedown of audio equipment.
Assist with vendor research including back and forth communication to obtain pricing details, deadlines , etc.
Assist with ensureing the events content on the website and social media sites are up to date.
Assisting in communications and customer service with events attendees including giving directions, answering questions, and crowd control.
Physical labor includes setting up and taking down stages, seasonal displays and evetn equipment. Most of the time these will be done in an outdoors evnironment.
Other assisgnments as given.
Qualifications
Knowledge of conflict resolution and general customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced organization
Strong interpersonal, verbal (including phone work) and wrtiien communication skills
Basic computer processing skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
Prior work in special events preferred
College coursework or comparable work experience preferred
Basic knowledge of audio equipment preferred
Must be able to lift heavy objects, such as tables and stage sections repeatedly
Must be able to work in an outdoor environment in variety of weather conditions
Must be able to work Monday-Saturday days and nights. schedule will vary week to week based on event schedule and time needed in the office, which, can be flexible
