Overview
We’re seeking a
Senior Jira Administrator / IT Systems Analyst
to take ownership of a growing Atlassian ecosystem and drive system optimization across the business. This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner with technical and functional teams to enhance workflows, improve visibility, and deliver scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do
Administer and optimize
Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
Design and configure
projects, workflows, permissions, and schemes
to meet business needs
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
Manage
user access, roles, and security controls
Build and maintain
dashboards, reports, and automation
to improve productivity and visibility
Troubleshoot system issues and lead resolution efforts, including vendor coordination
Support integrations with
enterprise systems and third-party tools
Develop documentation, user guides, and best practices
Provide training and support to end users across technical and non-technical teams
Mentor junior team members and elevate overall Jira capability
Support occasional after-hours work to ensure system reliability
What You Bring
4+ years of
advanced Jira administration experience
(senior-level scope)
Strong expertise in:
Workflow design and system configuration
Permissions, schemes, and project setup
Jira Service Management and Confluence
Experience with
Jira integrations and REST APIs
Working knowledge of
SQL
and reporting tools
Familiarity with
automation tools and scripting
(Groovy, Python, etc.) is a plus
Understanding of
Agile environments and ITIL frameworks
Experience with
SSO, VPNs, SSL certificates, or network concepts
is beneficial
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Clear communication skills—you can work just as effectively with engineers as with business users
Nice to Have
Experience with
enterprise Jira environments or migrations
Exposure to
Power BI or advanced reporting tools
Background in data integration or ETL processes
The ideal candidate will be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screenings.
