Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Senior level Jira System Administrator to join their team.

As a Senior level Jira System Administrator, you will be part of the IT support and systems management department supporting enterprise-wide Jira and Atlassian tools.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Lakewood, Colorado (hybrid onsite schedule required)

Pay Range:

$67-70/hour, based on experience

What's the Job?
Administer and support Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and related Atlassian tools including installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with functional teams to understand workflow requirements and customize Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and schemes accordingly.
Manage user access, roles, and permissions ensuring security and compliance with company policies.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.
Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders on Jira best practices and functionality.
What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience with advanced Jira administration, including complex workflow design and system integrations.
Strong understanding of Jira project configurations, workflows, permissions, and schemes.
Experience with Jira Service Management and Confluence administration preferred.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python), SQL, and Jira REST APIs for reporting and troubleshooting.
