Job Title: Compensation Technical Analyst
As a
Compensation Technical Analyst , you’ll sit at the intersection of
data, systems, and people strategy . Your work will directly impact how the organization attracts, retains, and rewards talent—by ensuring compensation programs are accurate, competitive, compliant, and scalable.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys
getting into the data , optimizing processes, and partnering with HR and leadership to turn complex compensation information into clear, actionable insights.
What You’ll Do
Compensation Systems & Data
Own and maintain compensation data across HR systems (HRIS, compensation tools, and reporting platforms)
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and audit-readiness across salary, incentive, and equity programs
Support annual compensation cycles (merit, bonus, equity) from a technical and data perspective
Build, automate, and enhance reports and dashboards for HR, Finance, and leadership
Analysis & Insights
Analyze internal compensation data and external market data to support pay decisions
Partner with Compensation and HR leaders to model scenarios and assess program impactIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities related to pay equity, competitiveness, and compliance
Process Improvement & Enablement
Streamline compensation workflows through automation, documentation, and system enhancements
Act as a subject matter expert for compensation data and reporting questions
Translate technical concepts into clear explanations for non-technical stakeholders
Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, IT, and People Analytics
Support compliance with pay transparency, equity, and regulatory requirements
Contribute to the design and rollout of scalable, future-ready compensation solutions
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, HRIS, or a related technical HR role
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets
Hands‑on experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, ADP, UKG, or similar)
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables; Power BI, Tableau, or SQL a plus)
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting compensation cycles and pay programs
Familiarity with market pricing tools and survey data
Knowledge of pay equity analysis, job architecture, or workforce analytics
Ability to balance technical depth with business‑friendly communication
