Patient Registration – Customer Service Representative
You will work to help patients check into the hospital. In this fast‑paced environment you are the point of contact for patients, answering questions, collecting information accurately and quickly, and listening with compassion to address their fears, concerns, and questions.
Responsibilities
Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy environment, collecting details that must be input correctly between physician and nurse check‑ins.
Assist patients who may be very ill or worried, listen carefully to ease their anxiety and build rapport.
Work quickly and expect the unexpected in a fast‑paced, on‑feet environment that requires managing multiple programs and typing as fast as patients speak.
Collaborate with a supportive team that helps you progress toward career goals in healthcare.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Excellent customer service experience.
Up‑to‑date on all vaccinations, and pass a drug test and background check prior to hire.
Preferred Skills
Medical experience.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $14.00 – $18.99 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
