Overview
At the present time, a vacancy exists within the Administrative Services department of the Chester County Intermediate Unit for a Substitute Evening Front Desk Customer Service Representative.

Schedule
Base schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:00–7:00 pm and some Friday’s, 4:00–7:00 pm. Work hours may extend outside these hours and include some weekends and daytime hours.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required

Experience in a high public exposure position

Computer experience highly preferred

Current within 1 year Child Abuse, PA State Police, and FBI fingerprinting

Duties and Responsibilities

This position monitors the flow of employees and visitors to the Educational Services Center outside of normal business hours and requires the incumbent to facilitate needs and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors within the scope of the position upon arrival.

The position requires the ability to courteously communicate information to CCIU management, staff, visitors, and vendors, to listen to and understand information presented, to recognize when there is a problem, and to multi‑task.

The position will assist the conference center as needed, including but not limited to: checking conference center room setups; setting up and testing audiovisual equipment; picking up and setting up evening and weekend catering as needed; collecting, counting, logging, and creating deposits of coffee and vending machine money; performing other conference‑center related duties including invoicing as requested.

The position will require the ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule.

Salary
$21.30 per hour
