Position
Events & Promotions Coordinator – Harrah’s & Tropicana Laughlin
Starting pay is $14.00/HR. We’re looking for a dynamic, organized, and guest‑focused Events & Promotions Coordinator to help plan, coordinate, and execute exciting events and promotions across the property. This role blends creativity with operational precision and requires someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute property events and promotions using technology‑based systems
Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service to guests participating in events
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure successful execution of promotions
Manage multiple events or promotions simultaneously while prioritizing tasks effectively
Accurately file and organize event and promotional collateral
Emcee events and promotions, including speaking confidently in front of crowds and using a microphone
Adhere to attendance guidelines, departmental policies, and company standards
Perform additional duties as needed to support the Events & Promotions team
Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Deliver Caesars Entertainment’s Family‑Style Service in every interaction
Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent preferred
Six months to one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong communication skills, including the ability to present information and respond to guest questions
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities
Work in both indoor & outdoor environments, with potential exposure to cigarette smoke
Familiarity with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Computer Skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
Experience working with a Player Database preferred
